And sure enough, the Marciano Brunette Lawsuit is a pretty good example of that. Here, it is the Marciano Brunette suing Demi Engemann for defaming him and trying to ruin his image. What Is the Lawsuit About?
This lawsuit is a pretty recent one, actually, like Marciano filed this one on 5th December 2025 down there in a federal court of Utah. He is alleging in this lawsuit that Demi falsely labeled him as a “sexual predator,” just to ruin his image in the industry. Which means, she has accused him of sexual assault, and that right there is a serious allegation, no doubt about it. But the thing is that Marciano strongly denies this claim or allegation made against him, and he is clearly saying that this is just to defame his image. That’s all!
Though it is not just Demi Engemann that this lawsuit names, it is also about Jeff Jenkins Productions. For those who don’t know, this is the same production company behind Demi’s show. But why? Well, so far, Marciano has clearly said that this company also played a part by amplifying these accusations made against him.
What Allegedly Happened?
So far, you must be just guessing about what really happened and what the sexual assault allegation Demi is making against Marciano is, right? So, here’s actually what happened, or what both parties claim happened.
So, the actual incident dates back to August 2024, and that was the time when the filming of a crossover episode was going on down there in Italy. During that time, Marciano was filming Vanderpump Villa, and in that particular episode, Demi appeared as a guest from her show.
And yes, Marciano agrees that both of them shared a consensual kiss off-camera. He said that it was a mutual interaction and nothing else. But, Demi, on the other hand, has clearly stated that this contact was unwanted and she has described it as a sexual assault.
The important thing to note here is that Marciano has also claimed that both of them stayed in contact for several months via texts, calls, and location sharing, after that Italy trip. And no doubt, this ongoing communication is what supports his version of the incident. But Demi says that the ongoing communication doesn’t mean anything.

Since this matter is super new and it is just a few days ago that Marciano came up with this lawsuit, so sure enough, the lawsuit is in its early stages and ongoing. So far, there has been no decision made or no settlement. But it is true that Marciano is now super serious about it all, and he is seeking damages and wants the court to intervene in stopping Demi from talking about this matter in public because this is seriously harming his public image. It can very well end his career if this goes on just like this.
